Ok, last night, models looked ok for severe in northeast Colorado for today. This morning before leaving, slight area was moved east and ne CO was out of the picture. Now, ne CO is back in the picture for a 2%. Geez...
Anyway, left Meeker at 4 this morning and am now sitting in Loveland getting some family things done and sneaking peeks at models.
Cloud cover over this morning with surface temps in upper 40's and low 50's. I think severe weather will in all likelihood be in eastern CO/western KS. If sufficient surface heating occurs, ne CO may see something. Not optimistic but holding out hope.
Target: Ft. Morgan and points south to I-70
Initiation: around 4:00 pm
