The SPC has issued a mesoscale discussion (MD) regarding the possibilty of severe weather in TX later today. South central and southeast Texas may see a marginal threat for an isolated tornado, damaging winds and hail. A watch seems unlikely at this time.

Currently, a line of storms are forming in southcentral Texas, north and west of Granger. Some of these storms are exhibiting supercell characteristics but appear to be high-based.

For more info, see MD wording at http://w1.spc.woc.noaa.gov/products/md/md0111.html
