SPC just issued a MD for coastal southern California. Although a watch is unlikely, storms similar to the ones yesterday are expected once again to leave their mark today.

There are already reports of hurricane force winds racing over the Golden Gate bridge and a large convective area moving onshore near Vandenberg Airforce Base.

SPC placed SoCal under 2% tor risk for today. Current wording:

THE THREAT FOR SEVERE STORMS INCLUDING BOWING AND/OR SUPERCELL
STRUCTURES IS EXPECTED TO INCREASE LATE THIS MORNING INTO EARLY TO
MID AFTERNOON. THE POTENTIAL WILL EXIST FOR LOCALLY DAMAGING WIND
GUSTS...SOME HAIL AND PERHAPS A BRIEF WATERSPOUT/TORNADO WITH ANY
STRONGER STORMS MOVING ONSHORE.

Another fun day for CA!
