Thought I`d help and up the post count for Andy Wink

Okla was a BUST for sure!

Well as Okla was a big joke we did have a little fun when we returned to Kansas and headed east last night.

Nice photos and vid, Steve. Forecasters are having a field day with this one given the "what should have happened" versus "what really happened" events of the day Smile

Thanks for sharing Steve, hope others will do the same in the future as I hope this forum will continue to grow! You made the best of a bad situation, as far as i could tell all the forcing got displaced, if you saw Meso Mike on SN the storms he was on west of Enid should have been in that 5% but it seemed like the best lift / forcing stayed west of the 5% almost like our infamous midwest cap busts, how did it feel Steve, we are a big fan of cap busts up here lol!

Pat as you saw, I changed my target all day long as we were on the road....lol
Starting off with I-35 ponca city exit to moving to western Okla. I went off Twister Data for my Ponca city Exit target before we left the shop but went off the Sky`s and my instinct as we drove south. I just knew I had made the right move when the box from the SPC came out and we were right in the middle of it. How wrong I was on the whole thing....lol
Felt like I was on the great Iowa Bust all over again....lol

That little Cell that took off from Nash Okla was a Joke and for some reason, some are calling it a "Supper Cell"....lol
We were right there and it was nothing. I call it a little "Single Cell" It just wasn't meant to happen. I`m glad we did take off after it though as that put us back on I-35 so we had time to catch up with the Kansas cell west of Sadan KS.

Andy as we sat in western Okla (Trust me I don't normally set in waiting on storms to forum) every tower that would try to bust out would get cut off fast. We watched tower after tower just get clobbered. I couldn`t believe we got nothing out of that crap in western Okla as even the air had that feeling in it. However I never got my "Tornado Goosebumps" so I should have know then that it was time to move east....lol
Theres nothing like a Cap Bust lol!
